My Personal project and challenge with the Fujifilm X-PRO 3 - Part 1

Hi guys,

I hope you are doing well!

Well this feels good and unreal at the same time.
It's my very first blog post as a photographer and also my very first project.

When I first fell in love with photography as a kid and teenager, it was all about the magic of film. There was something truly special about the process of shooting, developing, and printing my own photos that made me feel connected to the art in a way that digital photography never quite captured.

That's why I'm excited to share my latest project with you.

During the month of May, I've been using a Fujifilm X-Pro 3 with two manual lenses from Voigtländer, and I sticked to a specific recipe without any editing in post-processing (except cropping if needed).

My goal? To capture the essence of what made me fall in love with photography in the first place, and to channel that magic into a series of photos that truly capture the essence of my vision.

It's been an incredibly rewarding experience so far, and I'm excited to share my journey with you.
On a positive note, I absolutely love the self-discipline to stick to the plan, shooting every days, and also stay aligned with my values.
On the other hand, if you follow my journey as a photographer, I'm more known as a fine art monochrom artist. The engagement is totally different if not even nil! Probably that this kind of picture takes more time and it's also even more niche. I don't know..
But I would say.. I don't care, I do it for myself!

In the following blog posts, I'll take you through my process, from the equipment I chose to the recipe I'm following and the creative decisions I've made along the way. I'll also talk about my plans for turning this project into a zine, and how you can get involved.

So come along with me as we explore the magic of photography - both digital and film - and what it means to truly push the boundaries of creativity in this art form.

Meanwhile, here are already some shots :)

Much love

Dan
